Financing of Novosibirsk sports teams increased by half a billion rubles in 2024

In 2024, more than 2 billion rubles will be allocated from the regional budget to support 10 sports teams. The bulk of this amount will be directed to the development of the Sibir hockey club.
According to the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Novosibirsk Region, funding for clubs will be increased next year. The budgets of all teams of masters representing our region at the Russian championships in team sports will receive additional funds. This is reported by BFM-Novosibirsk.
The total amount of funding for 10 teams will be 2 billion 148 million 200 thousand rubles. The Ministry of Sports believes that this level of financial support will allow teams to perform at a high level.
“The money is allocated from the regional budget. Some teams have sponsors and partners, while others do not. In 2023, just over 1.5 billion rubles were allocated from the budget for 10 teams of masters. In 2024, funding for the teams will be about 2 billion rubles “, said the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Novosibirsk Region Sergei Akhapov.
The largest increase in funding in the new year will be for HC Sibir. The club will receive 1 billion 217 million 759 thousand rubles from the budget of the Novosibirsk region, which significantly exceeds the amount last year – 713 million 650 thousand rubles.
The Novosibirsk football club will receive 307 million 677 thousand rubles from the treasury. Last year, the amount of state support for the Novosibirsk football team was approximately 2.5 times less – 282 million 221 thousand rubles.
Next year 126 million 824 thousand rubles will be allocated to the Novosibirsk basketball club. Last year the amount was also much less – 114 million 673 thousand rubles.
The budget of the Sibselmash hockey club this year grew less significantly – to 110 million 637 thousand rubles. Last year, 100 million 395 thousand rubles were spent on it.
The remaining teams will receive amounts less than 100 million rubles.
The Dynamo women’s basketball team will receive 99 million 82 thousand rubles (last year’s budget was 90 million 427 thousand rubles)
Volleyball club “Lokomotiv-Novosibirsk” will receive 62 million 960 thousand rubles (last year’s budget – 55 million 775 thousand rubles)
The Siberia rugby club will receive 25 million 215 thousand rubles (last year’s budget was 16 million 732 thousand rubles).
The Olimp volleyball club will be financed with 15 million 683 thousand rubles (last year’s budget was 14 million 501 thousand rubles).
