14-year-old figure skater Maria Simonova, who received a head injury during the competition, has been discharged from the hospital. This was reported by the athlete’s mother Irina Simonova, writes TASS.
Let us remind you that the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 24. Maria Simonova, competing in sports pairs competition with 17-year-old Martin Breslavsky, fell from the support and hit her head on the ice. The girl was hospitalized in a medical facility. She was kept in intensive care for some time, but was later transferred to the neurosurgery department.
“Masha was discharged. Everything is fine, we are already home,” said the mother of the young athlete.
Earlier it was reported about a tragedy in one of the alcohol markets in Tatarstan. A man entered a store, slipped on a slippery tile and… died after hitting his face on the floor.
