The younger sister of the Cuban revolutionary, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the country Fidel Castro, Juanita, died at the age of 90 in Miami. Her representative, Maria Antonietta Collins, announced this on social media.

“Today, at the age of 90, Juanita Castro, an exceptional woman, a tireless fighter for the cause of her Cuba, walked forward along the path of life and death,” Collins said

Juanita left the country in 1964. She was disappointed in her brothers and the revolution in Cuba. Juanita later said that since 1961 she had collaborated with the CIA and, when she still lived in Cuba, helped people escape from there. Later, already in the United States, she participated in the creation of an NGO operating against the Cuban government.
