The next downpours that hit the south of Primorye led to the flooding of a section of the Ussuri federal highway connecting Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. The movement goes around the section that has gone under water in the area of the village of Razdolnoye. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Primorye.
“Due to overflows at 693 km of the A-370 Ussuri highway, traffic, both towards Vladivostok and towards Khabarovsk, will take a detour through Razdolnoye,”— says in a departmental announcement.
Video on social media it is seenthat the water completely closed the section of the highway located in the lowlands near Razdolnoe.
Last day in the south of Primorye passed regular heavy rains. In Vladivostok, according to the mayor’s office, 182 mm of precipitation fell against the monthly norm of 176 mm.
Since the beginning of August, floods have been recorded in Primorye due to heavy rains. On August 15, a state of emergency on a regional scale was introduced in the region. On August 25, the state of emergency was raised to the federal level. The damage to the region from floods is tentatively estimated at 7 billion rubles. More than 5 thousand households were flooded. Six died.
