How to decorate an office

Traditionally, festive decor and all kinds of themed decorations for the entrance area are in demand in order to congratulate the stronger half of the team upon arrival at the office.

Balloons create the mood, but not just inflated balloons on a stretcher: now these are interesting designs made from balloons of different sizes. They don’t need to be too bright. Instead of red and yellow colors, we choose masculine shades: black, white, dark blue, gray, khaki.

The workday is divided into time slots, in which each floor or each department comes to specific points in order to participate in interesting activities. We equip office premises with technical equipment, interactive panels for holding master classes or coaching sessions with interesting guests. And the guys have a holiday all day.

We create photo zones

Classic tantamaresques and joker banners are a thing of the past. The trend is interactive 3D photo zones, where you can go and take photos for social networks or just cheer yourself up.

*Room of crooked mirrors. Mirrors that create the illusion of distortion of space and shape of objects are found in amusement parks. So why not set them up for a day at the office? Believe me, the room where there are mirrors with a convex or concave surface that deform the reflected image will become one of the most popular among employees.

*Fun changing backgrounds. This is a type of interactive game. Backgrounds can change depending on user actions or on a timer. Relatively speaking, every 10–15 minutes visitors to such a zone find themselves either in the forest, then at the sea, or even on the top of Elbrus.

3D photo zones are especially interesting for kinesthetic people who perceive the world through feelings and touch.

Choosing a party format for medium and large offices

The corporate environment in a crowded company can be different and depends on the preferences and capabilities of the employees. The main thing is that it is bright, cheerful and remembered by all participants only on the good side.

*Classic scenario – brutal theme party “Army (navy) and courage.” Decorations in the colors of the Russian flag, military attributes, army uniforms, musical accompaniment in the style of patriotic music. You can hold a tournament in table tennis, table football, chess or darts, organize competitions for the speed of assembling models of equipment, archery or air rifle. You can end the party by watching a holiday-themed movie.

*From other traditional men’s formats – party with a pirate or cowboy theme. The scenery is appropriate: in the first case – ship props or the interior of a port tavern, in the second – in a Western style, with revolvers and hats. The scenarios are similar: as a rule, these are competitions with symbolic prizes, tasting drinks, watching westerns and films about pirates, music with thematic compositions.

*In organizations that engage in intellectual work, you can start intellectual games festival – from simple quizzes “Fun Together!”, Elias, Uno, Answer in 5 Seconds, Friday, to the game “Monopoly”. To ensure that as many people as possible can take part, different teams should be seated at the table alternately. At the same time, you don’t have to worry that not everyone will be able to play in the end. Many people who have no gaming experience prefer to watch the process from the sidelines, fearing to appear ignorant. From experience, out of a team of one hundred people, 15–20 are actively ready to play. Therefore, it will be enough to create three or four “six” experts and prepare reserve players just in case.

*Gangster party. Fans of the game “Mafia” will like it, which, in fact, can become the central event of a corporate party, just like “Monopoly”. The main thing is to prepare well: purchase special masks and cards, hire a presenter (unless, of course, the company itself does not have a professional who can competently play the game). Additionally, you can arrange a detective quest, the goal of which, for example, is to find 10–12 items as described in the notes.

Choosing a party format for an intimate office

Small companies no longer have this scope. What is in demand here is a format with background music, office decoration, congratulations and minimal souvenir sets for men.

*For large companies they are no longer relevant, but in small organizations they always go off with a bang. Bavarian parties with tasting of different types of beer, various national snacks and table competitions.

*Corporate party in Hawaiian. The main decoration is flowers and leaves, colorful garlands and bouquets. At a Hawaiian party, you can ask guests to come in costumes that match the theme of the evening. These can be colorful shirts, tutu skirts, bikinis, sarongs, flower garlands around the neck, etc. Hawaiian cuisine is rich in exotic fruits, seafood and spices. At the party, you can organize a hula dance competition.

*Playing men’s games. Master classes and tastings are always men’s fun (from tasting wines, cigars and tea ceremonies, to a master class on making rolls and cocktails).

Not a single February 23rd is complete without shooting games and augmented reality VR gadgets. Large companies order off-site events where they can arrange a room with the effects of 5D technologies in the form of an airplane cabin, a rocket, an underwater world or a ski resort. Also, if your office has a good-sized TV, you can rent a game console with several gamepads and organize a tournament (the games are usually included with the console).

What to give to colleagues on February 23?

*Army uniform, dishes, accessories. You can give thermal mugs, flasks, mini thermoses, key chains, etc.

*You can order sweets in the confectionery in the form of tanks, airplanes and other equipment associated with the army or with compliments for men. And men also love bouquets of cheese or meat.

*If you don’t want to stick to the theme of the holiday, you can give your colleagues any item related to their hobbies or interests: books, T-shirts with the logo of your favorite team, accessories for gadgets (cases, laptop stands, selfie sticks, power banks).

* Board games, puzzles, anti-stress toys.

* Sweatshirts or sweatshirts with laudatory and at the same time funny inscriptions always evoke positive emotions. Having received clothes with the inscription “Lord of system administrators” or “The best programmer in this galaxy”, a man will certainly be flattered.
*Packaging is always trendy, and they try to make it interesting, beautiful, and personalized.

*Don’t forget that gifts should be appropriate and not cause misunderstandings or offense. Therefore, it is better to clarify what things are most appropriate for each specific colleague.
