Sochi in the 24th round of the Russian Championship played away against Akhmat. Barça rolled the ball into the net in the third minute. First, Joaozinho made a throw from the depth of the field into the penalty area, where Luka Djordjevic got ahead of the defender on the move and skillfully threw the ball over Giorgi Shelia, who had jumped out of the gate, with one touch. But the main arbiter of the match – Artur Fedotov – determined that the Montenegrin hit the gate from an offside position. The goal was cancelled.

In the ninth minute of the match, Akhmat had a great moment. After a corner kick, the ball darted around in the goalkeeper’s area, as a result, Yevgeny Kharin shot from an acute angle, but sent a projectile into the net from the outside.

Lechi Sadulaev posed a serious danger to Sochi residents. Midfielder “Akhmat” often created chances and never for a minute allowed the defenders of “Sochi” to relax and take a breath. At the seventeenth minute, Sadulaev almost scored with a header, but missed. At the thirtieth minute, Zoran Nijic hit his head under the crossbar – Denis Adamov rescued the team.

Akhmat clearly dominated the field and managed to score even before the break. At the 32nd minute of the match, after another corner kick, Anton Shvets immediately reacted, outplayed his opponents, hitting the goal with his head. But the video replay showed that at the moment when the goal was scored, Nizhich blocked Adamov in the goalkeeper’s area. The goal was canceled again.

At the 39th minute of the match, Djordjevic went one on one with Shelia, but the goalkeeper emerged victorious from this duel.

After the break, midfielder Miguel Silveira made his debut in the Bars. He entered the field instead of Joaozinho. The second half began from the moment at the gates of Akhmat. First, Artem Makarchuk ran down the flank and made a pass to the penalty line, Artur Yusupov shot into the far corner with a touch, but Shelia saved the Grozny team in the fall.

For a long period of time, the meeting took place without dangerous moments. It seemed that the match would end in a draw, but in the 86th minute the Grozny players forced a fight in the Sochi penalty area. First, Artem Timofeev got ahead of Christian Noboa, made allowances for Vladimir Ilyin, the striker powerfully shot into the far corner, Adamov did not reach – 1: 0. Already in stoppage time, the forward could score a double. He hit with a running start in touch, but the ball flew close to the post.

The third loss in a row did not shake Sochi’s position in the standings. The team with 31 points is still in ninth place. Most likely, the team will finish the season in the middle of the standings. It is obvious that the club is already looking for a replacement for Dmitry Khokhlov, the acting head coach of the team.

Old problems resurfaced

In the middle of last week, Krasnodar played in the second stage match of the Way of the Regions semi-finals of the Russian Cup. “Citizens” hosted “Wings of the Soviets” at home. Guests released half of the main team for this game. “Bulls” detached the best. The idea was obvious to the hosts: to quickly defeat the opponent without spending a lot of energy on him. And at first they succeeded.

Already in the first minute of the match, the “bulls” could open an account. Eduard Spertsyan moved to the right side, made a pass into the penalty area to John Cordoba;

Samarans first tried to answer. The match, which started quite aggressively, calmed down in the middle of the first half. Alexander Chernikov was injured, the player left the field in the 18th minute. Krasnodar kept the initiative, but obviously did not play at full strength. The score was opened in the 32nd minute, when Cordoba made a discount on Spertsyan, the midfielder quickly ran to the penalty area and slashed his top, the ball flew into the goal from the crossbar – 1: 0.

After the goal, the game generally calmed down. At the beginning of the second half, Amar Rakhmanovich prevented Safonov from quickly putting the ball into play, for which he received a second yellow card. Left in the minority, Krylya Sovetov began to control the ball more and create chances. Perhaps the appearance on the field of more base players played. The Bulls attacked, but without much enthusiasm. Nevertheless, in the 70th minute they managed to double the score. Christian Ramirez ran to the penalty area and gave a counter pass, Cordoba jumped into the net and accurately shot past Ovsyannikov. This goal was the hundredth for the Colombian in his career.

It would seem that the outcome of the match is a foregone conclusion. But Krasnodar has long had a tradition of making unexpected gifts to rivals. The “black-greens” are sometimes completely unable to keep the advantage. No one requires the “townspeople” to play to save the score. Please score more. But this time, they lost what they had acquired in a matter of minutes.

Already in stoppage time Samarans suddenly became more active. Safonov jumped around corners after corners and free kicks, yelled at his defenders, but eventually conceded twice. First, Dmitry Tsyplenko went one-on-one with the goalkeeper at speed and outplayed him, breaking into the far corner. Immediately, Ilya Gaponov put his body in the penalty area and powerfully shot into the top corner of the goal – 2 : 2 – a penalty shootout.

Here the host class came to the rescue. Spertsyan, Mikhailo Banyats and Ilzat Akhmetov scored their goals. Glenn Bale’s kick dragged Safonov. And Vladimir Pisarsky and Yury Gorshkov shot past – 2:2 (3:0). In the next cup game, the Way of the Regions final, Krasnodar will host Acron Togliatti. The meeting will take place on the third of May.

Already this week, on Monday, the team of Vladimir Ivic met in Moscow with Spartak in the 24th round of the Russian Championship. Caio, one of the pillars of the Bulls’ defense, missed this game due to disqualification.

Nevertheless, the game for Krasnodar started in the best way possible. Already in the eleventh minute of the match, Spertsyan and Kadi Borges played a corner through a short pass, then the Armenian national team player shot along the goal from the right side, Cordoba just had to substitute the body – 0: 1.

Krasnodar controlled the game well. Spartak had to slide down to simple casting on Alexander Sobolev and Keith Balde. Guillermo Abascal was clearly unhappy with this turn of events and made a substitution before the break. The Bulls could have scored at the very end of the first half, Spertsyan rounded the wall from a free-kick and hit the post, Joao Batchi managed to finish, but then Alexander Selikhov reacted flawlessly.

In the second half, Krasnodar again scored an early goal. Batchi ran with the ball from his half of the field to someone else’s penalty area, beat Alexis Duarte on the flank and shot from a decent distance into the far corner of the goal – 0: 2.

Almost immediately after that, Ramirez knocked down Sobolev in the goalkeeper’s area, the chief referee of the match, Vladislav Bezborodov, appointed a penalty. The same Sobolev beat, who with a confident blow spread the ball and Safonov in different angles. The game immediately changed, the initiative passed to Spartak. Five minutes after the missed goal, Safonov made a mistake and hit the ball on Sobolev, who was running at him, the attacker took the chance – 2: 2.

Krasnodar immediately corrected the situation. Aleksey Ionov made a headway into the penalty area, where the Spartak defenders missed Spertsyan, the Bulls’ pupil skillfully threw Selikhov – 2: 3.

But Krasnodar would not have been themselves if it had not given the advantage. First, in one of Spartak’s attacks, Anton Zinkovsky made an excellent touch, the ball ricocheted off Ramirez’s foot and flew into the net. Three minutes later, Quincy Promes, having made his way into the penalty area, hit Safonov’s goal with two attempts – 4: 3.

Spartak, having gained an advantage, was able to keep it. “Krasnodar” did not help even nine minutes of stoppage time. Safonov ran into the penalty area of ​​the hosts, the guests asked Bezborodov to appoint a penalty against Selikhov – it did not help. Only Krasnodar can squander the advantage like that!

After the 24th round, the “citizens” with 38 points remained in seventh place in the standings. The Bulls are unlikely to be able to achieve much more in the championship. All hope for the Cup of Russia.
