In Britain, a father saw the death of his son live
In the UK, the father of citizen Mike Barnett saw his son’s death live on the news. It later turned out that the death was due to hypothermia. This is reported by DailyStar.
The material says that Barnett was forced to go to the tropical fish store where he worked during a rainstorm to prevent water from entering the establishment. However, when he arrived, the street behind the store was already flooded with water. He tried to clear the drainage channel of debris and walked towards the drainage ditch. Podcaster Ballen said that as Barnett walked, he began to feel suction on his legs and his body began to be pulled down. Due to the strong current, he was pressed against a metal fence.
The victim was noticed by the store owner, 76-year-old Jeffrey Claxton, who immediately called for help and also called Mike’s father. When he arrived at the scene, the police did not allow him to see his son. As a result, the father went home.
Upon arriving home, the man turned on the TV and the news broadcast live what was happening to his son. Just a couple of minutes later, the father saw his son die.
A little later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the cause of Barnett’s death was hypothermia.
