Fashion model from the Kuznetsk bridge

Josephine or charming Zhuzhu – that was the name of the Frenchwoman who worked as a fashion model on the Kuznetsky Most. The girl was insanely beautiful, elegant and always dressed with taste. She ordered outfits from France itself. Her lover was the famous philanthropist Savva Morozov.

Morozov, after the revolutionary events in January 1905, wrote a letter to Witte (the first prime minister of the Russian Empire). In it, he spoke out that it was necessary to put an end to the autocracy. After the strikes at the Morozov factory, Savva demanded that his relatives fulfill all the demands of the workers, but he was removed from all affairs. After these events, the former entrepreneur lost interest in life. Morozov’s family decided to send him to Europe for treatment. So Morozov and his wife left their house and their Zhuzha.

He never said goodbye to his lover. The girl took the breakup hard.

And on May 13 (26), 1905, in Cannes, after a second breakfast, Savva told his wife that he would go to rest. He went up to his bedroom. After a while, the family heard the sound of a shot. Having risen to him, they saw the dead Morozov with a pistol in his hand and a note in the other. It was written in it:

“I ask you not to blame anyone for my death.”

The next day, Savva’s death was already known in Moscow. Newsboy boys were divided into districts. One of these ran along the Kuznetsky bridge and shouted loudly: “Savva Morozov committed suicide!”

Upon hearing the news, Juju ran to read the newspaper. Someone says that she ran out of the shop in house number 21, someone is sure that at that time she was passing by in a cab. But she did not have time to run and read the news, she was hit by a carriage.

Doctors fought for the life of a young girl, but to no avail. Josephine passed away.

Everyone who knew her sincerely sympathized, because the girl did not even manage to find out about the death of her beloved. But this story did not stop the deaths on the Kuznetsk bridge.

A few days later, a boy was found strangled in one of the gateways. He was identified as the same newspaper boy. There was a stocking next to him. There were enough fashion experts on the Kuznetsky Most, and they identified that this thing belongs to Zhuzh. Only she could afford such stockings, delivered from France itself.

But how could she do it? After all, the boy died a day after the death of the fashion model.

The bodies of the strangled newsmen were found on the Kuznetsk bridge again and again.
