Far Eastern security officers detained a Ukrainian commander in the Kherson region for espionage

FSB officers from the Far East, performing tasks in the zone of the special operation, detained the commander of the territorial defense detachment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Russian Federal Security Service for the Khabarovsk Territory.
A 54-year-old citizen of Ukraine was reportedly detained, he is suspected of espionage. It was established that he had an assignment from the Ukrainian special services to obtain information of a military nature, and collected information regarding parts of the Russian Armed Forces, in particular, about the locations of personnel, weapons and military equipment.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the detainee.
