Former Austrian Foreign Minister Kneisl wanted a house in Russia

Karin Kneissl, who previously held the post of Foreign Minister of Austria, said that she had not yet moved to Russia completely, but was currently looking for an opportunity to purchase a house in the Russian Federation.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, she noted that she needed a house to keep her pets – ponies, horses and dogs. Kneissl said that she had not yet bought a house in the Russian Federation, but rented a small house in the Ryazan region.
She also ironically commented on the publications of the British media that she lives in a “secret FSB facility.”
Kneissl also said that she is teaching at St. Petersburg State University, and recently she was offered to manage one of the university’s research centers.
Karin Kneissl is known for being visited as a guest at her wedding in 2018 by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who danced with the bride and left a wish on the newlyweds’ car. Then, earlier, Kneisl in Austria was enrolled among the “friends of Putin”, because of the threats, she was forced to leave the country.
