Fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina opposed the holding of a friendly match against the Russian team.

One of the largest fan groups in the country, BHFanaticos, reportedly called for a boycott of the match on social media.

Earlier, the players of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the football officials of this country, spoke out against the game with the Russians. According to media reports, in the event that a friendly match between the Russian national team and the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina takes place, the amount of earnings of the Football Federation of the Balkan country will be about € 200,000. Also, the Russian side will cover the cost of travel and accommodation, the report says.

The national teams of Russia, as well as Russian clubs, have been suspended from participation in all international competitions for an indefinite period.
