Families of mobilized Sverdlovsk residents will be paid 20 thousand rubles

The government of the Sverdlovsk region has established the first payments to the families of citizens called up for service as part of partial mobilization, the department of information policy of the region reported. Adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers today, October 20, the document provides for a lump sum payment of 20 thousand rubles. for the family of a serviceman and a similar payment for each child. Support measures also apply to the families of other participants in the special military operation in Ukraine.

The payment for the family will be assigned to the wife (husband), parent (adoptive parent) of the CBO participant, and in some cases – grandparents. The payment is also assigned for each child of a serviceman under the age of 18, and for children aged 18 to 23 years old who study at a school, vocational education institution or university. At a meeting of the legislative assembly of the Sverdlovsk region, which will be held on October 25, they will consider other measures to support the families of the mobilized, said Lyudmila Babushkina, chairman of the legislative assembly, at a briefing. Among them:

• free meals in schools and colleges for mobilized children;
• free admission to kindergartens, sections, circles, art schools, Christmas trees;
• extension of the work schedule of kindergartens;
• free provision of vouchers to children’s camps;
• free provision of psychological assistance, as well as assistance through a comprehensive center for social protection of the population.

“All the necessary resources of the education system will be directed to support the families of partially mobilized citizens. There are appeals from families who need to accompany their children to school and institutions of additional education. Volunteer detachments of our pedagogical colleges, under notarized contracts, can accompany children and help families,” Yury Biktuganov, Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, said at a briefing.

Mayor of Berezovsky (satellite city of Yekaterinburg) Evgeny Pistsov informedthat support measures related to credit and tax holidays, non-calculation of interest on payments for certain types of utilities are being worked out.

Recall that in the Sverdlovsk region until now didn’t make a decision on the size of the lump-sum payment to the mobilized themselves. However, according to the Ural plenipotentiary Vladimir Yakushev, the decision will be made in the coming days. At the same time, in the neighboring Ural regions – Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous districts – appointed one of the highest payments in the country – 300 thousand and 250 thousand rubles. respectively.
