Military expert Vladislav Shurygin called for severe punishment of opponents who violate laws in Russia. At the same time, he referred to the murder of military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky in St. Petersburg.
Shurygin recalled that the attack occurred at a creative evening, which was attended by more than 100 people.
“This suggests that in a maximum of six months, if the SVO does not end, we will see the return of the death penalty and a completely different level of repression in relation to these people,” the expert said on the radio “Moscow Speaks”.
According to Shurygin, this is required by the logic of historical development. If the enemy works on your territory with the hands of idiots, they need to be brought to a “common denominator”.
Earlier on the need to apply the death penalty declared leader of the Duma faction “SR – ZP” Sergei Mironov. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov replied that the issue was not being discussed in the Kremlin.
