President of the Association of Russian Florists Valentina Safronova told Moskva news agency, how much a bouquet in honor of International Women’s Day will cost on average in 2023.
According to Safronova, domestic tulips will cost between 50-80 rubles.
In the meantime, Dutch tulips of various types will rise in price to more than 100 rubles – both peony-shaped and fringed, and flowers of other interesting varieties.
But the price of roses will depend on the length of the stem: the shorter, the cheaper. “Now roses of 40-50 centimeters cost about 70 rubles. This is, of course, a bit too much,” said the florist.
On average, a bouquet of five tulips will cost 400-500 rubles.
Valentina Safronova also said that the market is now experiencing problems with the supply of chrysanthemums, as Dutch farmers have either reduced their areas or closed.
