Clouds in the form of “nuclear mushrooms” can be seen in the summer and in Moscow, the last time on Thursday. This statement was made by the leading employee of the Phobos weather center Mikhail Leus.
“… the clouds move very slowly and develop upward almost in one place and reach such sizes in their development that they rest against the stratosphere …”, the weather forecaster said.
The footage and video of the “mushroom” from the Lipetsk region were previously published on social networks. A similar phenomenon was also seen in the airspace over Kazan.
Leus noted that this is not a unique weather phenomenon: it is observed quite often in the capital in the summer.
