Postponement of Russian spacewalks has a working character, – Roskosmos
The press service of Roskosmos reported that the spacewalk of cosmonauts Sergei Prokopiev and Dmitry Petelin, scheduled for April 26, was postponed to early May. The rescheduling is reportedly due to operational reasons.
“The exit, previously scheduled for April 26, 2023, has been tentatively postponed to early May due to the need for a more detailed study of its tasks,” Roscosmos noted.
So far, it is assumed that in the course of work outside the station, the cosmonauts will be engaged in moving the lock chamber using a manipulator.
It is also reported that the previous exit of the Russians from the ISS took place on April 19.
