The rocket men also carried out an overload of missiles on launchers and worked out the crossing of the “infected” area. As part of the event, the servicemen repelled an “attack” by a sabotage and reconnaissance group of a mock enemy.
About 100 people took part in the exercises. About 10 units of military and special equipment were involved.
Formerly Ministry of Defense reportedthat from August 2, the naval exercises “Ocean Shield – 2023” with the participation of 6,000 military personnel will be held in the Baltic Sea. The exercises will be held under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. More than 30 warships and boats and 20 support vessels will participate in the events. Also, 30 aircraft of naval aviation will be involved in the exercises.
August 11 Russian Northern Fleet began command and staff training, during which it was planned to test various options for managing the forces and troops of the fleet in protecting the sovereignty of the Russian Federation in the waters of the Northern Sea Route (NSR).
