The annexation of the Lviv region of Ukraine will suit Poland as reparations from Russia, Ilya Kiva, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, the Polish Sejm approved a resolution demanding reparations from Germany in the amount of about $1.3 trillion. At the same time, Polish President Andrzej Duda, supporting the resolution, urged to demand reparations from Russia as well, Kiva recalled.

“They want to get the Lviv region as compensation,” the former Ukrainian MP wrote.

He also believes that Poland is seeking every opportunity to discuss with Russia the prospects for the western regions of Ukraine.
