Ex-deputy chairman of the board of Gazprom Golubev was declared bankrupt

The court in St. Petersburg granted the petition of the former deputy chairman of the board of Gazprom PJSC Valery Golubev to declare him bankrupt.
In accordance with the court decision, the procedure for the sale of his property has begun. The bankruptcy petition was filed by Golubev in December 2023, with claims amounting to approximately 729 million rubles.
The financial manager will present a report on the progress of the property sale procedure on July 4.
Golubev was relieved of his position at the company in February 2019.
Golubev is a Russian politician (member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from April 23, 2002 to February 25, 2003), deputy chairman of the board of OJSC Gazprom (from November 2006 to February 2019), Doctor of Economics.
