Ex-CSKA football player Vasily Berezutsky moved from Russia to Spain

Vasily Berezutsky, a former CSKA football player and captain of the national team, decided to stay and live in Spain. In January 2023, it became known that the Honored Master of Sports of Russia lives in Barcelona, but then he moved to Marbella. In an interview with journalist Nobel Arustamyan, published on YouTube, Berezutsky shared his experience of living in Spain.
He said he was studying Spanish, taking two lessons a week. According to him, he liked Marbella more than Barcelona, especially due to the pleasant winter weather, gastronomy and general atmosphere. Berezutsky’s children already go to the local school.
According to him, in the coming years he intends to reside permanently in Spain. However, he does not claim that he will be involved in any business; most likely, he simply plans to enjoy life in this country.
Note that after finishing his football career in 2018, Vasily Berezutsky worked on the coaching staff of the Dutch club Vitesse under the leadership of Leonid Slutsky. He then served on the coaching staffs of Krasnodar in 2021 and CSKA until 2022, when he left the club.
