Ex-CIA agent McGovern: Zelensky attacked the Kursk nuclear power plant out of desperation

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is trying to attack the Kursk nuclear power plant due to the loss of support from Western countries. This opinion was expressed by former CIA analyst Ray McGovern in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
According to McGovern, “Zelensky has one last shot left,” so the fact that “he is now attacking nuclear power plants in Russia, in Kursk” is “desperation.”
The American expert admitted that he is concerned about Kyiv’s actions in this direction, since they can lead to disastrous consequences. McGovern expressed hope that Europe will be able to keep Zelensky from catastrophic actions.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Yuri Shvytkin suggested that the attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant by three Ukrainian drones, one of which crashed into a nuclear waste warehouse, was well planned. The parliamentarian did not rule out that the preparation of this attack conducted by the Kyiv regime with the participation of the United States.
Russian Foreign Ministry speaker Maria Zakharova emphasized: Ukraine’s attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant proves that there are no restrictions for the Kyiv regime, up to acts of nuclear terrorism.
