What Putin said at a meeting on the situation in Dagestan

Ukraine and its Western curators, represented by the United States, took part in organizing the events in Makhachkala, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with members of the Security Council, the government and the leadership of law enforcement agencies.

The head of state noted that Ukraine has placed “on a pedestal of honor” the Nazis, who took part in the Holocaust, and now “under the leadership of their Western patrons they are trying to instigate pogroms in Russia.”

“By the way, I’m not sure whether all the leadership circles in the same States know about this. It would be nice for those who supposedly care so much about the citizens of Israel to conduct an investigation into what their special services are doing in Ukraine if they are trying to instigate pogroms in Russia,” Putin noted.

The President emphasized that behind the conflicts and chaos in the Middle East and in the world are the United States, which wants to retain its status as a world hegemon, its influence is falling, but the American elites do not want to put up with this.

“The American-style world, with one hegemon, is being destroyed, gradually but steadily becoming a thing of the past. But the States do not want to put up with this, but on the contrary, they want to maintain and extend their dominance, their global dictatorship,” Putin added, explaining that the United States is trying to destabilize its competitors, who have refused to play the role of a lackey, by creating points of tension.

Western elites are behind the conflict in the Middle East and other crises, they use their consequences to maintain their role as “geopolitical puppeteers”; they even attack the UN resolution, which reflects the position of the world community that called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Russian president recalled that the aggravation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began with a terrorist attack by the Hamas group against civilians located on Israeli territory. However, this was followed by a disproportionate reaction – “they began to take revenge on the principle of collective responsibility.”

“The terrible events that are now taking place in the Gaza Strip, when hundreds of thousands of innocent people are being indiscriminately killed, who simply have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from the bombings, cannot be justified by anything,” the president emphasized.

Putin recalled that the key to resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict lies in the creation of a full-fledged Palestinian state in accordance with the UN resolution adopted in the past. And we can help Palestine and other peoples who have suffered from the actions of the collective West by joining the fight against those who are behind the war in the Middle East and other regions.

“We, Russia, are fighting them as part of a special military operation. And it is with them, both for themselves and for those who strive for real, true freedom,” the president noted.

On October 29, a crowd of activists burst into Makhachkala airport as a flight from Israel arrived there. In connection with the incident, the Investigative Committee for Dagestan opened a criminal case under Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. On October 30, the Ministry of Internal Affairs identified more than 150 rioters at the Makhachkala airport, 83 of them were detained.

The airport has already resumed receiving flights. The damage from the actions of the protesters is estimated at several million rubles.

The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, said that the unrest was preceded by calls disseminated by pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels. He noted that the regional authorities have reliable data that the Morning Dagestan channel was broadcast from Ukraine. On October 30, the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov, said that channels calling for violence would be blocked “for violating the rules of Telegram, Google, Apple and the entire civilized world.” Later that same day, this Telegram channel was blocked.
