In the Chechen Republic, last night they quickly stopped an attempt at provocation similar to the events in Dagestan. About it stated head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov emphasized that “it is impossible to follow the lead of Russia’s enemies and undermine the situation from within.” It is also forbidden to “hold rallies, destroy airports in search of people of Jewish nationality and call for violence.”

“We must be above all this and maintain order on our land. Such actions are unacceptable in any case and will be suppressed very harshly,” explained the head of the republic.

According to Kadyrov, the timely actions of the regional media and the Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations of the Press and Information Akhmed Dudayev helped to suppress fake calls for unrest and warned residents against rash actions. In case of provocations, the police and National Guard were put on alert.

On October 29, a crowd of activists burst into Makhachkala airport as a flight from Israel arrived there. The Investigative Committee for Dagestan opened a criminal case under Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Airport operations were paralyzed until midday on October 30. The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, said that the unrest was preceded by calls disseminated by pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with members of the Security Council, the government and the leadership of law enforcement agencies, said that Ukraine and its Western curators represented by the United States took part in organizing the events in Makhachkala.
