Every tenth resident: how Russians influence the appearance of their hometowns

There are only a few days left before the start of the All-Russian online voting for the selection of improvement projects

We ourselves can influence the creation of cozy squares, beautiful parks, public gardens and modern playgrounds in our cities. It’s easy to do. All-Russian online voting on the selection of territories and improvement projects will begin very soon. With its help, every resident of the country can choose which objects and places need to be improved exactly where they live. And how this happens, “MK” will tell in a special project. We will publish information about how Russian cities are becoming more beautiful thanks to the participation of residents.

Voting will begin on March 15 and will last until April 30.

It’s very easy to do this:

You can vote on the portal za.gorodsreda.ru.

– Go to the feedback platform “Government Services. Let’s decide together”;

– Log in to the site through State Services. If you are not registered with State Services, click “Register” to create an account. Select a municipality in your region of residence or registration to vote;

– Select from the list one public area that, in your opinion, should be improved first. When voting for design projects, select one project from the list to implement.

During the voting period, improvement volunteers will work at special information points in your locality and in city public spaces. They will explain in detail why you need to express your opinion, tell you which locations are proposed to be improved and how. Volunteers will also be able to advise and help those citizens who are doing it for the first time to vote on the platform.

New playgrounds, squares and parks, embankments and alleys with fountains – all of this can literally be touched just a few months after one simple “click” of the mouse!

Last year, more than 5 thousand objects from more than one and a half thousand cities and settlements were presented on the voting platform for residents to choose from. Projects in the regions were prepared by the best professionals, and the residents themselves became the strictest judges.

The Lipetsk region was no exception. The region presented 50 public spaces on a single platform, and more than half of them (35) were among the winners. According to townspeople, it is important to improve first of all the Svobodny Sokol park, the beach of the LTZ area, city pedestrian zones and public gardens.

Benches and paths are not trifles

“Every time I return from the fitness club, my road runs through the small Svobodny Sokol park. The territory is literally surrounded by greenery. There are shrubs, coniferous and deciduous trees, flower beds everywhere. Winding alleys make walking peaceful! In such an environment, the body easily “switches” to the “rest” program, freeing itself from fatigue and stress. Expanse is here for children too. By riding scooters and rollerblades, they become physically stronger, and at the same time acquire useful skills. Elderly people willingly sit on comfortable benches, watching what is happening. There is a fountain in the center of one of the open areas, around which people gather with pleasure. There is also a stage that is open on holidays. It’s great that this park will become even more pleasant and modern. In my opinion, the park could do with updating attractions for children, creating new food outlets, renting bicycles and scooters for active pastime for families with children and youth,” said Lipa resident Maria Fedosova. The improvement program will affect not only the city itself. In Yelets, the “Four Seasons” play area, a square in the area of ​​the Railway Workers’ Palace of Culture, as well as several areas for recreation and walking will be landscaped. Residents of Lebedyan voted for the continuation of the improvement of Bazarnaya Square, as well as for the transformation of the City Park. In Gryazi, Usman and Zadonsk – for the transformation of public gardens, in Chaplygin – a pedestrian zone and a park. Dankov residents spoke in favor of the third stage of improvement of the Pioneer Heroes Park and the creation of a multifunctional sports ground.

“It’s great that we can choose projects ourselves. Such benches and paths are not trifles, they are important. I will definitely vote this year, because there is so much I still want to do for my beloved city,” Maria Fedosova shared with the MK correspondent.
