The head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo published a video message. He said that for some time he did not go on the air, “because he was under the care of very serious doctors in order to improve his health.”

He said that he communicates with the military almost every day and knows what kind of tension now exists among Kherson residents about the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “located not so far away.” “I can tell you for sure: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have much more forces,” he stressed. “Therefore, Kherson will never succumb to tricks from the outside.”

A number of Ukrainian Telegram channels previously reported that Saldo allegedly died on Monday. “I didn’t post messages allegedly about his death in my Telegram channel,” answered this Kirill Stremousov, Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. “All this is another fake, the Ukrainian media no longer have enough imagination.”

At the end of his video message, Saldo also wished “strength of spirit, endurance and faith in victory.”
