European civilization is everything: how the era of humanism ended

[ad_1]

The heyday of the European economic garden did not occur immediately after the Second World War. The wonderful attractive peace that has reigned in the countries of Western Europe in recent decades has, of course, not always been, and soon it will definitely not be. The economic recovery was the result of three major factors, each of which is systemically important.

The first is, of course, the natural desire of people in Western Europe to work and earn money. The second aspect that has a system-forming role in the European economic miracle is the opening for European goods, first of the huge US market, and later of the market of the countries of the former USSR. A market economy is called a market economy because any most developed, efficient and advanced production means absolutely nothing if there is no one to buy the goods of this producer.

The opening of the United States market was significant for Western Europe for the simple reason that by the post-war period the United States was the world’s largest economy in terms of GDP, and the dollar had somehow become the key reserve currency, displacing the British pound. By the way, the opening of the US market was also a decisive factor for the Chinese economic miracle that occurred after Deng Xiaoping’s reforms. This, as they say, should not be forgotten either.

But the American market, as I said above, was not the only source of revenue for Western Europe. Let me remind you that the market of the Soviet Union with a population of more than 250 million people seemed to be an important factor in economic growth for any global manufacturer.

I will give just one example. In the 1970s-1980s, the USSR produced hundreds of civil aircraft per year and was in first place in the world in terms of the scale of this production. It is worth recalling that the aircraft industry is one of the most complex and intellectually intensive industries in the world, which gives a huge synergistic effect in dozens of industries and hundreds of industries of the most diverse content and direction. I will add that Airbus at that time was just a small innovative joint venture, which, with the opening of the USSR market, became one of the leaders in this industry, now having, by and large, only Boeing among its competitors. We, for the sake of the West, almost killed our aircraft industry.

After more than 30 years, we finally thought about what we need as air our own production of civil aircraft. And suddenly it turned out that the domestic “Tu” and “Ily” are actually not so bad (and in many respects very modern), and, for example, “Ana” and “Yaki” fly in our open spaces so far. Of course, you won’t fly far on the old groundwork, but, as they say, we have something to build on, and the appearance of our own aviation fleet is just around the corner.

But let’s get back to the “notorious” EU and the foundations of its economic recovery in the second half of the 20th century… Here, the third factor in that very economic miracle was guaranteed supplies of resources from the Soviet Union and Russia at affordable prices and on an almost unlimited scale. As we know, not only oil and gas were featured here, but also coal, metals, timber, and much more.

You will say that production (especially technological) is more important, and resources can always be bought. This, of course, is true, but, as we know, the key factor in providing production with resources is logistics, and if everything is always in order with the delivery of everything you need, then your production becomes extremely competitive. This is exactly what the EU achieved thanks to the uninterrupted supply of resources from the Soviet Union and Russia.

By and large, the European economic recovery is understandable and understandable. As they say, this is not Newton’s binomial. The question is: what will the EU do if one of the factors of its economic prosperity suddenly disappears?

As we remember, the EU had serious problems with Russia in 2008, after Mr. Saakashvili’s Ossetian adventure. How has this affected the EU economy? Did she collapse? Of course not, but the bells have already sounded. Harsh statistics tell us that by 2008 the GDP of the US and the European Union were approximately comparable, but after 15 years, the GDP of the States increased by one and a half times, while the GDP of the EU remained almost at the same level.

The current policy of the EU leaders is even more bringing down the eurozone economy, as it destroys two of the three key factors of its own economic prosperity – it closes the sales market in Russia for its goods and deprives its own industry of resources from our country. In fact, the deindustrialization of Western Europe is already a reality of today, and there is no way out of this impasse yet.

If we add to this the colossal expenses of the EU to support the Kiev regime, then the prospects for Western European civilization look very depressing … You will say: but we also spend a lot on a special military operation (SVO), and it also puts a burden on our economy.

I have an answer to this question: the key difference here is that we invest real money in the military economy and ensure its circulation (and often return) in our own economic system. Paradoxical as it may seem to all critics of Russia, the NWO increases GDP and the standard of living of citizens, and the restoration of infrastructure in the liberated territories also creates conditions for further economic growth.

Politicians in the EU “record” their expenses in the debt burden of the Kyiv regime, the liquidity of whose obligations, to put it mildly, is negative. In fact, the leaders of the countries of Western Europe are burning the money earned by the labor of their citizens in the furnace of a conflict that no one needs in the EU.

Now let’s return to the humanistic paradigm of the spiritual values of the modern European Union. What is going on there? Let’s start the conversation with the exceptional value of man – a humanist and worker, created in the image and likeness of the Lord. It was precisely the priority of this imperative that Western Europe was attractive. But it turned out that the EU now also has big problems and difficulties with this.

Disrespect for the value of human life is the end of any civilization, because beyond this line “dark times” come. The EU, unfortunately, has very clearly demonstrated that the leaders of Western countries have long ceased to have any respect for human life and dignity: this was clearly seen in the 1990s in Yugoslavia, in the conflict over South Ossetia in 2008, and also in Ukraine, from 2014 to the present. And I’m only citing European examples here… Murders in Iraq, Libya, Syria are also acts of the European Union.

But someone may object that the EU behaves this way only in relation to “third countries”, where democracy is not yet developed, etc. There are exactly two categorical answers to this: firstly, you cannot be a murderer and rapist “at a party” and at the same time remain a humanist at home (this will not work), and secondly, the attitude of EU leaders towards their own citizens is also far from the ideals of Christian values.

To give just a few examples, it has become commonplace to ignore international law and property rights. Any object of movable or immovable property (I’m not talking about bank accounts) can be arrested not even on a denunciation, but simply at the request of a particular official. What kind of human rights can we talk about here?

A child can easily be taken away from a family, mother, father… And any person, regardless of citizenship, can be deported, extradited at the request of a third country, etc., etc.… I’m not even talking about freedom of speech in the EU. Its ignoring has already become commonplace. I also don’t want to remember about the glorification of Nazism and its accomplices, as well as about double standards.

Man at the present stage of the historical development of Western civilization is reduced to the level of a function: he must work and spend what he earns. In fact, a person in the current EU is a disenfranchised living appendage of a large political and economic machine. And this machine, despite the bravura statements of the EU leaders, one way or another rushes into the abyss.

I will add that the attractiveness of civilization is determined not only by the way of life, but also by the state system, the values professed and the ideas that civilization promotes in the world around. And what is the Western world promoting now? Aggression against sovereign countries… Neo-colonialism… Destruction of traditional values and the LGBT agenda… Support for Nazism in Ukraine… The realization that the Western world is evil, as well as the realization that it is Russia that is fighting evil in Ukraine, is gradually strengthening in the world, and this situation further weakens the position of the EU.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the Western European world was by no means always the “navel of the earth”. The world has known many periods when Western Europe was not even a periphery, but the deep “backs” of world civilization. And now, gradually and confidently, the EU is moving in the same direction. Political influence is collapsing along with economic weight and humanistic appeal: Mr. Macron, for example, was not invited to the BRICS summit in South Africa, despite all his requests …

In general, only adventurers, clowns and madmen, who, alas, are still in power, for example, in Ukraine and Moldova, can talk about the European choice now. But, as they say, the historical process is objective, and, alas, there are no prerequisites for the EU to find new resources for its development.

The decline of any great civilization is always sad. Thanks to European civilization, we received Christianity, we have common cultural and historical roots with Europe, many Europeans have served (and are serving) Russia. But the time of Western European civilization is running out, which means that the spiritual values of Christianity, the principle of service, the primacy of human life and dignity will be carried by other civilizations. One of them will now again save the world from Nazism, and once again we have a huge civilizational responsibility.
