UN criticized Ukraine’s attack on Russian journalists

The United Nations criticizes the actions that led to the injury of Russian journalists and the death of one of them. Such a statement on Monday, July 24, was made in the office of the Secretary General of the world organization António Guterres.
The UN also commented on the Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow on the night of July 24, calling on all parties to the conflict to avoid actions that could lead to an additional escalation of the conflict.
RIA Novosti war correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev died under fire in the combat zone. In addition, RIA Novosti photojournalist Konstantin Malchevsky, Izvestia correspondents Roman Polshakov and Dmitry Shikov were injured.
Members of the Permanent Commission on International Contacts of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation issued an official statement in connection with the death of a journalist in the area of the SVO. According to media reports, Russia’s permanent representative to UNESCO is preparing an appeal to the member countries of the organization demanding to condemn the act of terror against Russian journalists by the Kyiv regime.
