Estonian man jailed for trampling Ukrainian flag

A court in Estonia punished a man with three months in prison for trampling the flag of Ukraine, the portal reports. ERR.
A video with an Estonian, in which he steps on a flag and wipes his feet on it, was handed over to the court. On the recording, the man confirms that he is satisfied with trampling on the symbol of the country. It is specified that the Harju County Court found 50-year-old Alexander Hanninen guilty of desecrating the national flag of Ukraine.
In the pre-trial order, the attacker did not admit his guilt, as he claimed that under his feet there was an arbitrary piece of fabric that resembles the Ukrainian state symbol. At the same time, by the time of the hearing, he decided to admit his guilt and express regret for what he had done.
