Among hundreds of participants from all over the region are young pupils of the Proton center of the resort. The championship was held in the format of an exhibition that lasted almost a month.

The guys made all 50 exhibits themselves – from the drawing to the design of the finished model, and the most complex ones were “built” for more than a year. Using laser, milling equipment and a 3-D printer, the guys managed to recreate small copies of Soviet fighters – the Yak-3, La-7 and LaGG-3.

Based on the results of the championship, the jury members determined the best aircraft and rocket scientists. Thus, the Essentuchanians won 17 medals at once – 6 gold, the same number of silver and 5 bronze. Experts highly appreciated the work of resort residents Nikolai Lipov, Yegor Shcherbakov, Mark Nesterov, Pavel Garkun, Alexey Logunov and Andrey Volodin.

It was previously reported that Essentuchanka became the first women in the Stavropol region to receive a medal for a participant in the Northern Military District.
