The fourth regional chess tournament was held at the 1st school, where students from city schools and the village of Iskateley participated. More than 60 participants gathered in the “Growth Point” offices. Before the game started, all players shook hands. The students looked intently at the chessboard, thinking about the next move. The time for the game was limited – 10 minutes.

— When I first saw the chessboard, curiosity arose in me. I plunged into this world on my own and began to study the game according to the rules. Chess became not just a hobby for me, but an opportunity to develop, learn strategy and make difficult decisions. In every game I see a lesson that helps me grow as a player and opens up new horizons,” said 5th grade student Rozalina Yulmetova.

Athletes competed in different age categories.

In the senior category of the chess tournament, Ruslan Zimin took first place. Kirill Podolsky won in the under 15 age category.

In the age category up to 13 years, Zakhar Beloglazov won. In the group under 11 years old, Snezhana Shaitanova took first place. Roman Nikolaev won in the younger age group.
