At the same time, Ermak admitted that no one knows exactly when hostilities in Ukraine will end. He believes that the conflict could end very suddenly.
Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, in an article for the Economist, expressed the opinion that the situation at the front is “a dead end” and said that he does not particularly count on a breakthrough. According to him, according to “NATO textbooks,” the Ukrainian army was supposed to “fight” on the territory of Crimea. The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Igor Zhovkva, criticized Zaluzhny and said that the military should not make statements to the press, and the statements of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine frightened the Western partners of the Kiev regime and raised a lot of questions among the population of the country.
The Ukrainian counteroffensive began on June 4, but no significant successes were achieved in any direction. The losses of the Kyiv regime amounted to more than 90 thousand military killed and wounded.
