The entrance fee to Hagia Sophia for foreign tourists has been increased to 25 euros

The cost of entry to the Hagia Sophia Mosque in Istanbul for foreign tourists will now cost 25 euros (slightly less than 2.5 thousand rubles) per person. This is reported by NTVciting a statement from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

It is noted that visiting the cathedral will become paid for foreigners from January 15, and tickets will be sold at a special box office. The Turkish department believes that the new visiting scheme will make it possible to prevent the appearance of long queues.
