Basketball players from Ivanovo “Energia” continue to compete in the regular championship of the Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo shows very average results during the 2023-2024 season and cannot yet gain a foothold among the strongest representatives of the league. At the moment, the black-and-orange occupy 10th place in the Super League standings, ahead only of their rivals representing the Rostov region and Stavropol region. Previously, Energia was in the top 8, but a series of defeats crippled the tigresses.
On February 15, “Energia” hosted the current champions of the Super League, representing the reserve team of the MBA, at their home arena and showed excellent basketball. The “Tigresses” claimed victory until the last seconds and were on an equal footing with their opponents, but in the end luck smiled on the representatives of the capital. The MBA reserve team won with a score of 73:70 and further secured Energia in 10th place in the Super League standings.
On February 18, the “tigresses” are expecting guests from Kursk. The match against Dynamo’s reserve squad will begin at 14:00 Moscow time.
