Employees of the military registration and enlistment office of Old Sambir, Lviv region, who are accused of abusing men, were released under house arrest for 60 days, the Telegram channel “Country Politics” reports.

The prosecutor’s office demanded that they be left in a pre-trial detention center, but the Lychakivsky District Court of Lvov agreed with the lawyers.

Judging by the video, the soldiers who abused the civilians are greeted on the street with applause from their colleagues.

Earlier, two men from Kharkov and Krivoy Rog were detained while trying to cross the border and sent to the military registration and enlistment office, where they tried to force them to undergo a medical examination to be sent to the army. They refused, after which they were subjected to severe torture. The corresponding video has been distributed on social networks.

The prosecutor’s office of the Lvov region reported that both men slept on boards, were not taken outside, were fed scraps, were beaten, and were not given medical assistance.
