“Elon Musk is mastering political PR” – Kommersant FM

Elon Musk denied accusations of supporting Russia, including through the social network X (formerly Twitter). Previously, the billionaire was forced to actually make excuses in connection with the publication of the CNN channel that at one time he thwarted the Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol. Meanwhile, Musk received praise, in particular, from Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. Many local social activists and deputies invite the entrepreneur to visit Crimea. Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize is not sure that Elon Musk will be able to achieve world fame with his latest steps.

Elon Musk, apparently, does not give up hopes of winning the laurels of the savior of the world, but something is always missing. Almost a year ago, the entrepreneur tried to organize negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and even proposed his own settlement plan. At the same time, he asked to take into account that if the parties refuse, then nuclear war may well become a reality. Nevertheless, Armageddon still did not happen.

But now we can conclude that Elon Musk is also to be thanked for this. American writer and journalist Walter Isaacson, who specializes in biographies of famous people, is currently writing the success story of Elon Musk. The CNN television channel published excerpts from this work in the part where Kyiv allegedly launched a swarm of naval drones at the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

However, citizen Musk, who is not indifferent to the fate of the world, turned off his own Starlink system, and the killer boats stopped dead in their tracks or washed ashore – in this case it doesn’t matter. Why did he do this? Because he was sure that Russia would launch a nuclear strike in response. But the world is saved. However, instead of gratitude, the billionaire received a large portion of criticism for his openly pro-Russian position.

And then he made adjustments to this chilling story: they say that the system did not actually work, the Ukrainians asked to urgently turn it on, but he responded with a courageous refusal, and as a result the drones washed ashore. It sounds nice, but not very realistic at least in terms of the fact that a new Pearl Harbor could happen in Crimea.

It is believed that Elon Musk spoke with Vladimir Putin last year and after that, either really afraid of a nuclear war, or out of sincere motives, or because he fancies himself a politician, he is trying to somehow influence what is happening. But in the end, he again receives accusations of pro-Russian propaganda, including through the social network X, which was previously called Twitter. But Musk bought it and renamed it.

However, the billionaire helps Ukraine too, including through the supply of the above-mentioned Starlink system.

Well, Elon Musk has at least once again attracted attention. The businessman is actively mastering political PR.

Of course, the big question is how much all this will benefit both the situation around Ukraine and him personally. But we will not give advice to such a successful citizen. But with all this, the main thing is the result, and there is none. There are only colorful reports in the media. But in fact, it turns out that Russia now welcomes him. At least today Musk is ours, not theirs.
