Electronic subpoenas for military training will be sent in a number of regions – Kommersant

Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee, said that Russians in reserve will be notified of the need to attend military training using traditional paper summonses. Sending electronic summonses is possible only in a number of regions where there are “technical capabilities” for this, the parliamentarian stressed.

“Basically, summonses will come, of course, in the same form. Because far from everywhere there is a technical possibility to send out subpoenas through technical means,” said Mr. Kartapolov (quoted from TASS). According to him, summons for military training can theoretically come to the Russians in electronic form “where technology allows, but in any case, they will still be duplicated in the traditional way.”

The head of the Defense Committee of the State Duma also added that the testing of the system of electronic agendas will take place until the autumn draft into the Russian army.

May 10 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decree on conscription of citizens for military training. How many Russians are planned to be sent to undergo military training is not specified. Two points in the presidential decree are not disclosed and are marked “for official use.”

By law, two-month fees can urge citizens who have served military service, graduates of military departments and even persons who have served in alternative service. At the same time, an age limit was set: privates and sergeants of the reserve can be called up for training up to 35 years old, junior officers (from junior lieutenant to captain) – up to 50 years old. Those who did not appear at the training camp face a fine of up to 3 thousand rubles.
