The MK press center hosted an episode of “Theatrical Wednesday” with Marina Raikina, whose guest was actress, TV journalist, TV presenter Ekaterina Strizhenova, who shared the secrets of the production’s exclusivity:
“Everyone asks this question: colleagues call and say: “I want to see this performance because I’m tired of everyone talking about it. That’s impossible”. I think that it took shape because, firstly, Yesenin is the most beloved, most Russian poet. There is no person who does not know Yesenin. Secondly, this is the production itself, which is done in a clip style: the feeling that you are watching a film when the episodes fly by: in the scene we are playing, the next one is already beginning. Thirdly, this is a difficult performance, but the audience takes everything from it. I hear people crying when they kiss their son’s head, I hear the audience, I hear how they are absolutely in this scene, how they feel it.”
