“Komsomolskaya Pravda” looked through the comments under the singer’s old post dated March 16 and came to the conclusion that “Pugacheva got into a scandal after the tragedy” and that “the singer was accused of contempt for the Russians.” Indeed, among the latest comments there are many negative and even offensive ones.
“There’s no need to return to Russia, your attitude has been proven” (hereinafter the spelling is preserved. – “MK”), “and don’t say a word about Crocus, are you happy?”, “Why are you silent about the terrorist attack in Crocus, Alka?” – ask users with avatars of charming ladies, somewhat similar to bots.
“I didn’t even express my condolences to the people of my country. Bottom,” “Where is the post about Crocus?”, “Eh! Where are the condolences?” – users demand.
Some comments could be considered a call for the introduction of new legislation, which has been actively discussed recently. For example, on expanding the grounds for deprivation of citizenship or deprivation of honorary titles, as well as on the ban on returning to the country: “You are not a people, you are not a citizen <...> Let them bury you over the hill.”
A little earlier, actor Dmitry Nazarov, like Pugacheva, who left the country in 2022, faced similar attacks. Moreover, Nazarov spoke on the topic of Crocus, but not in a manner that could satisfy the domestic public. So, instead of the humble comment with condolences that critics demanded of him, he drew attention to a serious problem: after the terrorist attack in Crocus, there were once again calls to return the death penalty to Russia. After this Nazarova called for deprivation of the title People’s Artist.
