At the beginning of the second period, Metallurg again played in the majority, and the hosts again managed to capitalize on this numerical advantage. However, after a video review, the referees canceled the goal. However, the Magnitogorsk players still made it 2:0, when another Avto hockey player was already serving his punishment in the penalty box. The author was Grigory Dronov.

Until the end of the second twenty minutes, the score on the scoreboard changed three more times. First, the Avtomobilist players came back from 0:2: Oleg Li and Alexey Byvaltsev scored. And in the 37th minute, Metallurg striker Maxim Mukhametov again brought the team ahead.
