Here is such a strange system of drawing the Cup of Russia for the game of millions, that Muscovites, who lost to Samara in the sum of two matches, will continue to fight for the trophy. And it may happen that these two teams will play in the final match of the 31st Russian Football Cup 2022/2023, which will be held on June 11, 2023 in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium.

In the second leg of the Russian Cup, Slavisha Jokanovic’s wards had to win by two goals – the first game ended in a 2-1 victory for the Samara team. But the game and the mood of the Dynamo players were definitely influenced by the regulations, according to which, even after losing to the Volzhans, the Muscovites continued their way to the top.

Konstantin Tyukavin, Denis Makarov, Mumi Ngamale and Arsen Zakharyan, who entered the almost perfect lawn, practically did not create at least some semblance of a scoring chance at the gates of Ivan Lomaev during the entire match. But the Samara football players, led by the original coach Igor Osinkin, solved their problem in the capital by the thirtieth minute.

Dynamo, it must be admitted, tried: there were approaches, and they seemed to combine beautifully, and there was order with a variety of attacks. That’s just a complete disaster with blows. Once, Samarans were rescued by Rasskazov, who took on Tyukavin’s blow, Fomin’s “shot” was almost not accurate enough, Zakharyan did not understand why he “collapsed” in the penalty area of ​​”KS”.

The match referee Pavel Kukuyan also “participated” in the game. It was his clear and loud whistle that allowed the guests to open the score from 11 meters. The positional attack of the Samarans ended with Ngamale’s “go-ahead” from Benhamin Garre. And since this happened in the possessions of Igor Leshchuk, Vladimir Pisarsky (ex-Sychev) had the opportunity to print the gates of Dynamo. And the Krylia goalscorer coolly and even mockingly sent a leather sphere into the Dynamo net. Leshchuk reached for the ball, but he failed to beat it aside and he fluttered at the gates of the hosts.

After a missed goal, Dynamo, as it were, lost air in the lungs. And so, not very aggressive and intelligible attacks of the hosts completely “died out”, and only Zakharyan’s hit in the goal post of the Samara team can be noted.

The second half cast doubt on Jokanovic’s coaching talent. His substitutions did not change Dynamo’s game in any way. And one Kovalenko was enough for Samarans to “tie” the correct line of flight of the ball and prevent the hosts from realizing minimal attempts near their own goal. The fresh Smolov, who came out instead of Tyukavin, “stood” for the period of time allotted to him. In the 75th minute, Dynamo still equalized the score – Yaroslav Gladyshev successfully played on rebounds. Samara had a “killer” moment in the end, but Vladislav Shitov, who came on as a substitute, ruined his chance ineptly.

Dynamo “merged” into the lower part of the Russian Cup bracket, and Krylia deservedly go further along the upper part of the bracket. And all this thanks to the unique thoughtful work of coach Osinkin.

In the RPL Way, Spartak, CSKA, Ural and Wings of the Soviets will play among themselves. In the Way of Regions, the pairs will be made up of Lokomotiv, Krasnodar, Rostov, Dynamo, Zenit, Pari NN, Akron and Akhmat. The draw will take place on March 2.

– Will the fans who supported you remain? They are brilliant, because they shouted over a handful of Dynamo, which came in small numbers and were silent.

– I have never been involved in the organization of any movement of fans. Everyone has their own plans, I don’t know. Probably better to ask some club worker.

– Considering the regulations of the Cup, theoretically you can play with the same Dynamo in the final. What do you think about it?

– If we play Dynamo in the final, then we will play with Dynamo again with pleasure. But then I will offer one or two more friendly matches to play with this team, because this is not enough.

My questions to Dynamo coach Slavisa Jokanovic.

– What is the reason for the reverse replacement of Lesovoy?

– Firstly, Lesovoy played far from his position, and secondly, and this is the main thing, our intention is to play two forwards. I had the choice to change either Lesovoy or Zakharyan, but it was decided to leave Arsen on the field, because he could have sent a dangerous cross or a blow from outside the solid line.

— Taking into account the regulations of the tournament, didn’t it prevent you and the team from getting ready for the game, knowing that, despite the last defeat and today’s draw, you still go further?

— I can not say that we were underconfigured. It is impossible to call the last two games successful, having lost 1:2 in Samara, having played a draw here. I absolutely agree with you that we have not done our job well enough. But we do not lower our heads. We have a game in the RPL with the same opponent. Another thing about the format – now we wanted to play in the RPL bracket, and not go along the Path of Regions. As long as it’s like this, we’ll fix it.
