“Dyldy” will return to STS

On August 8, at 19.00, the comedy hit “Dyldy” will return to STS, in which the heroes will discover the world of beach volleyball. In the third season, Maxim Lagashkin, Polina Aug and Anastasia Stezhko joined the acting team led by Pavel Derevyanko.

In the continuation of the series “Dyldy”, the ambitious coach Mikhail Kovalev (Pavel Derevyanko) cannot cope with the betrayal of the team and goes into the world of alcohol and junk food. To get back in line, he turns to an eccentric psychotherapist Lev (Maxim Lagashkin) and takes on the women’s beach volleyball team. The rude and sexist is prevented from starting a new life by the second coach of the team, the feminist Lera (Anastasia Stezhko).

On the set, unlike her heroine, Anastasia Stezhko immediately felt sympathy for her partner: “I am sometimes asked: how does chemistry arise with a stranger in the frame? After all, Pasha and I had never worked together before. But when I looked into his eyes on the set, I thought about how deep and beautiful they were, and I felt warmth and trust.”

The competition scenes were filmed at the Zhara Beach Sports Center and at the Zenit Children’s Sports Development Center. For the southern flavor, the group went to Anapa, where they stopped at the Volleygrad sports base, one of the most famous beach volleyball grounds in the country. But the resort city met the team not with the sun, but with a cold wind, so the “hot” shots were filmed in Cyprus.

“There was some kind of anomalous weather in Anapa for October,” recalls Pavel Derevyanko. – But it was especially hard for the girls who played beach volleyball in an easy form. In this sense, it was easier for me: I was wearing a windproof suit with foam rubber.

If in the new series Pavel gained four sizes thanks to the costumers, then his on-screen daughter Angelina Poplavskaya tried on a real plaster cast. A few months before filming, the actress broke her leg, so the team had to urgently look for an understudy for sports scenes. “We were even considered sisters: we are so similar,” Angelina shared. “The most annoying thing is that all summer I specially trained at the school of our coach-consultant Elena Zarubina.”

Polina Aug, who auditioned for the series in the second season, also joined the training.

“I immediately told Elena Mikhailovna about my peculiarity: that I am left-handed, so some difficulties may arise. I had sports skills, I went in for other sports. But volleyball for the first time, so I mastered new facets of myself, ”said the actress.

Andrey Vorobyov, the creative producer of the project, believes that beach volleyball added dynamics to the series: “Shooting beach volleyball is different from the classic one. There are fewer participants in the game, there are only two people from the team on the field, the ball is lighter and softer, and the court is shorter by a meter. We wanted to get a variety of spectacular shots, so we used a copter, 360-degree cameras and rapid. And then, at the post-production stage, we achieved the effect of dynamic editing.”
