The decree on awarding Darya Dugina with the Order of Courage posthumously was issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before.
As follows from the message of the Kremlin, Daria Dugina was awarded “for courage and dedication shown in the performance of professional duty.”
An activist, journalist and follower of the ideas of her father, a political scientist, philosopher and public figure, Daria Dugina died on the night of August 21 when a car was blown up when she was returning from the Tradition patriotic festival.
A citizen of Ukraine is accused of her murder, who followed Daria, and after the crime, she left for Estonia.
