According to the Vladimir mayor’s office, the Golden Ring cross-country skiing competition was supposed to take place on January 8, but severe frosts frightened off the event, so it was decided to wait it out. By the way, due to the same cold, some of the New Year and Christmas holiday events were curtailed.

Despite this, many brave souls individually skied in these frosts and, according to them, did not freeze at all. They were warmed by a love of sports and good health.

The new date of the sporting event is January 11, Thursday.

The opening parade is scheduled at the starting field at 11-15, and the start itself will take place at noon.

Race participants and all fans are welcome in Druzhba Park!
