From January 5 to 7, 2024, a traditional Christmas rugby tournament was held in Penza, in which teams from Penza, Samara, Cheboksary, Saratov and Yoshkar-Ola took part.
About 600 athletes competed at the competition in four age categories: young men born in 2007-2008, rugby players born in 2009-2010, young men born in 2011-2012 and athletes born in 2013-2014.
Penza teams took second and third place in the first category. In the second category, second place was taken by the Lokomotiv team from the city of Penza.
In the competition among youth born in 2011-2012 (rugby -12), the Hurricanes team from Penza took second place, and the Arbekovskie Tigers team from Penza took third place.
The rest of the podium was occupied by the tournament guests.
