Due to a glitch, the Kazan metro stopped accepting fares at the turnstiles

The Kazan metro has stopped accepting fares at turnstiles. The reason was a communication failure of the cellular operator, reports the press service of Metroelectrotrans.

Now payments are accepted through manual validators and metro ticket offices. At each station, passengers are assisted by Metroelectrotrans employees.

In the press service clarifiedthat the company’s specialists are already working on site. They are trying to quickly restore operation of the turnstiles.
