DPR authorities introduced military censorship of mail and messages

From the published decree of the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, it follows that military censorship is being introduced on the territory of the republic.
This is done in order to ensure the martial law regime and implement measures to combat sabotage and reconnaissance formations, as explained in the text. Military censorship is imposed on mail and messages transmitted “via telecommunications systems.” In addition, telephone conversations will be monitored for the same purposes.
Pushilin, who officially took office the day before, also introduced curfew and banned the holding of rallies, demonstrations and other public events.
The corresponding decree was signed on September 18 and published today.
