The famous doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov commented on the popular myth that refusing soups can provoke the development of stomach ulcers. The words of the specialist were heard in the program “About the most important thing” on the TV channel “Russia 1”.
“A stomach ulcer is an infectious disease, infection with Heliobacter pylori, so you eat soup, you don’t eat soup, it’s not relevant,” Myasnikov said.
He also added that the soup really can be considered a healthy dish, as it helps the digestive system to prepare for the reception of heavier meals. However, according to the doctor, it can be easily replaced, for example, with ordinary warm water.
