Myasnikov said that iron deficiency anemia may indicate cancer in men
Russian doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov on the air of the program “On the Most Important” on the TV channel “Russia 1” revealed an unobvious sign of cancer in men. According to him, iron deficiency anemia may indicate the development of cancer.
The doctor explained that everyone was too accustomed to the fact that iron deficiency anemia is a “routine”. As Myasnikov noted, one in four women suffer from iron deficiency due to monthly blood loss, as a result of which their hemoglobin is reduced.
At the same time, the doctor is convinced that men need to undergo colonoscopy with absolutely any degree of iron deficiency anemia, since in men it is a symptom of an ulcer, polyp, or even cancer.
