Dmitry Rogozin appointed senator from Zaporozhye region – Kommersant

The head of the Tsar’s Wolves military-technical center, former director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, has been appointed senator from the Zaporozhye region, Kommersant’s interlocutor in the regional administration said. The decree on his appointment was signed by Evgeniy Balitsky, confirmed today, September 23, as governor of the Zaporozhye region.
“It is an honor for me to defend the interests of the Zaporozhye region and New Russia as a whole,” wrote Dmitry Rogozin in his Telegram channel.
In 2018, Dmitry Rogozin was appointed general director of the Roscosmos state corporation and held this post until July 2022. Since the fall of 2022, Mr. Rogozin, according to him, has been spending a lot of time in the zone of military operation as the head of the Tsar’s Wolves group of military advisers. Kommersant wrote about his possible appointment as a senator of the Zaporozhye region on September 17.
