Dmitry Nagiyev turned down the offer to host the MUZ-TV award ceremony in the field of popular music, although in past years he acted as the host of this event several times.
“Thank you very much for your trust, apparently not this time,” the actor said in a special video message posted on social networks.
He added that the time will come when “the really best musicians” will be awarded.
“In the meantime, as my grandfather said: “Shish to you, and not the honey fair in Luzhniki,” Nagiyev said.
Subscribers to the page of Dmitry Nagiyev demanded more detailed explanations of the reasons for refusing to participate in the MUZ-TV program. Some of them suggested that this may be related to a special military operation, as Nagiyev distances himself from politics.
Recall that earlier Nagiyev left Channel One and explained this by the fact that he plans to do business, for example, open a barbershop.
